Frequently asked questions

Planning, budgeting, construction, delivery and services.

Primarily VIC, NSW and SE QLD. WA, NT and remote sites are assessed case-by-case.

Yes. We provide documentation and liaison support and work in-house with our consultant partners, BW&A. BW&A National are accredited Building Surveyors specialising in Building Permits and Construction Certificates, ensuring full compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.

Modules use a rational grid with predefined spans; layouts are configurable within that system.

Yes. The Byron Series supports premium finishes and performance upgrades.

Fully insulated and airtight floor, wall, and roof elements; structural components precision-manufactured to your design; uPVC triple-glazed windows and doors; UniPier system for floor elements; cladding options (timber / Colorbond / recycled timber). Optional sunshading, mechanical heat recovery ventilation, floor heating, and joinery.

We use Uni-Piers, an Australian smart and efficient piering system designed to replace traditional brick piers and concrete or timber stumps used for subfloor support. Uni-Piers are a prefabricated, two-part system comprising a pier assembly (head type) with a structural flange for securing timber or steel bearers or beams, and a square hollow section (SHS) steel post with a welded base plate, anchored to or cast into a concrete footing or pad. Uni-Piers are non-combustible and will not rot, warp, shrink, or harbour termites. The system complies with the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards, making it a durable and compliant foundation solution.

We offer two completion stages: Lock-up (weathertight shell with systems, 4-6 months) and Fully fit-out (complete interiors, 6-9 months). Both options are available for Byron Series and Tetrohaus.

Lock-up includes the complete structural envelope, triple-glazed windows and doors, heat recovery ventilation system, electrical and plumbing rough-in, and external cladding. The home is weathertight and ready for you to complete interior fit-out with your own trades.

Lock-up delivery is 2-3 months faster than fully fit-out. Lock-up takes 4-6 months, while fully fit-out takes 6-9 months. Both options deliver the same structural performance—the difference is timeline and who completes the interior finishes.

We provide a clear inclusions/exclusions schedule for every project. Inclusions typically cover the prefabricated envelope, windows and doors, insulation, and core systems; exclusions often relate to site works, approvals, and external services.

Our system is a flatpack system which will be assembled onsite. Flatpack delivery improves access to difficult sites, reduces transport constraints, and allows faster on-site assembly with less disruption.

We use wood fibre insulation and airtight construction to deliver stable temperatures, controlled humidity, and healthy indoor air quality.

Our floor elements use an Australian-designed UniPier bracing system, available nationwide. Standard specifications are engineered for Soil Class M conditions.
